So I was inadvertently tagged to do a feature of 17 people. Now, I did read what she wrote but I wasn’t computing it, so I knew that by leaving a comment it would tag me. BUT as I said, it wasn’t computing. However, since I’m looking for excuses to do features, I don’t mind I’m going to do it in a series though…
I’m thinking 3 features of 3 and then 2 features of 4. I have an idea of who I’m going to do, but if you want to be featured, let me know. And just because you leave a comment doesn’t automatically tag you, unless you say something like “Feature me!”

Amanda is one of my oldest and true friends. She is one of the few that really understands me inside and out. But I am not featuring her because of that. She knows and I know we do not fave each other’s work because we’re friends. We do it because we LIKE the work and admire it. She has a developing eye for child photography but I love all her genres of work – she is a traditional artist and photographer, so here is a sampling…

The Kill Shot

Alex has become a fast dA friend (we actually started watching each other because I happened to stumble across a few people he was watching… no, actually I was stalking him, ). I love the fact that his work is completely unedited, that he takes nature as it is an displays it in its full and raw glory. He also draws in addition to photography but his work is more prominent in regards to nature photography.

Winter Red Buds II
Wild Flower

Amanda was one of the first people I found on dA. Her ability to take cut flowers and light them up so that they almost look fractal took my breath away. I think it’s a unique way to composite photography and capture flowers… I haven’t seen anyone else so far on dA who has the same concept. I had a very hard time choosing just a few of her pieces to showcase, because they all are stunning.

Ed is an amazing nature photographer with an incredible eye for flowers and symmetry. I enjoy browsing through his gallery and just taking it all in. Living in Wisconsin, I know where I can go for a pick-me-up when the snow has me bogged down. (And he also has some beautiful pieces from Wisconsin, coincidentally). I had a very hard time just selecting a few of his pieces – I could honestly favorite everything he produces.

Human Photography
Friends - sorry for the departure. I had internet issues.
Anyway, I am photographing a friends family and infant child (8 weeks) this weekend.
I don't have much experience with humans let alone babies.
Any good tips or things to watch for? avoid? etc?
Is there ANYONE out there?
Do I have anyone following me anymore? I mean, I understand if you're not...
I'm just curious for knowing what my audience wants and craves and if there is one...
iPhones and Photo Apps
It's been about 2 years since I've been on dA. I really dropped off the earth here. I went through a lot - family wise, medically, love life and so forth.
So I have no idea if this has been discussed much or not.
What are your thoughts on using photo apps and the iPhone/iPad for photography?
Oh Spring, How Thou Art I Miss You
Its been 6 months since I've blogged and since I"ve really even been on DA. So much has happened in that time period, but all the while I've been plugging along at photography just not at the level or amount I would like.
My grandma has incurable cancer.
I broke up with my boyfriend.
I have learned how to maneuver and use my snowblower like a pro. I can clear my driveway in under an hour (that's good for me folks)
I have kittehs that drive me nuts and manage 3 fan pages on facebook. My CATS have more fans than I have friends in real life. LOL.
I've researched out an awesome lawn mower.
I'm currently learning how to put tile up and picki
